A beach vacation can include a different side of South Florida without an overnight stay. Our Miami Beach to Key West excursion is built around shared round-trip transportation and free time, allowing you to decide how to spend your visit rather than follow a guided sightseeing group.

From Miami Beach to the Florida Keys

Your day begins at the meeting point selected in your reservation. After the remaining pickups, the vehicle continues through the Florida Keys toward Key West, with coastal scenery and the Seven Mile Bridge along the route.

Allow approximately four to five hours after the final scheduled pickup. Boarding earlier in Miami Beach adds time for the rest of the route; this is a full-day excursion, not a short morning outing.

Choose your own Key West experience

A central drop-off puts you in the main visitor area. You might walk along Duval Street, look for Key lime pie or make Southernmost Point part of your route. Plan around your interests and the confirmed return time.

Attraction tickets, island transportation, boat trips and meals are separate purchases. Check activity durations before booking anything that could interfere with the shared departure back to Miami.

Return to Miami Beach with the group

The accompanying staff confirms where and when to meet again in Key West. Save those instructions on your phone and allow time to walk back from your last stop.

The expected arrival in Miami is around 9:00 p.m., subject to traffic and conditions. Your drop-off is the original pickup point, so leave your evening plans flexible.

Choose a meeting point in the booking form and wait outside at the listed time. If your accommodation is not in the table, make your own way to the selected stop. Airport Regency is a hotel; there is no collection inside airport terminals.

Minimum party size: Sunny (6:00 AM) and Airport Regency (7:20 AM) each require at least two passengers on the same reservation. The other listed pickup points accept one passenger. If you are travelling alone, choose another listed stop.

Is a guided walking tour included in the day trip?

No. You explore Key West independently. Staff communicates the return arrangements, but a guided tour of local attractions is not included.

Can I spend my free time on Duval Street?

Yes. Plan your own route from the central drop-off and allow enough time to reach the return meeting point before departure.

Does the shuttle return to my Miami Beach pickup point?

Yes. The shared service returns to the original meeting point shown on your reservation. A different hotel drop-off is not included.

How does the USD 50 shared Key West reservation work?

The fare is USD 50 per person for same-day round-trip transportation and independent free time. Children under two may travel free on an adult’s lap without occupying a separate seat; passengers using their own seat pay the standard fare. Include every passenger and children’s ages in the reservation. The service normally runs daily, subject to availability and operating conditions.

What should I confirm before departure?

Choose one of the 12 listed meeting points and follow its confirmed pickup time. You may use a hotel stop without staying there. Wait outside at the meeting point; the driver will not enter the lobby to find you. Keep your phone and emailed voucher available. Sunny and Airport Regency each require at least two passengers on the same reservation. Airport Regency is a hotel stop, not collection inside an airport terminal.

How long is the journey, and is there a restroom stop?

Allow approximately four to five hours after the last scheduled pickup, plus any earlier collection time. A breakfast and restroom stop is included along the way; food and drinks are separate purchases. There is no onboard restroom. Follow the reboarding time given during the stop.

What should I know about free time and the return?

Free time depends on arrival and the day’s schedule. Staff confirms the central Key West meeting point and departure time, usually around 5:00 p.m. Activities and attraction tickets are separate, and the vehicle does not collect passengers from individual attractions. The return is to your original pickup point on the same day, with Miami arrival usually around 9:00 p.m. These times are approximate. Missed departures require you to arrange and pay for your own alternative transportation.

What bags, strollers or mobility equipment can I bring?

Each passenger may bring one backpack or small personal bag. Carry-on and large suitcases are not permitted. Tell the team when booking if you will bring a stroller or folding wheelchair. A passenger using a wheelchair must transfer to a regular seat; the vehicle cannot transport someone seated in a wheelchair. Take all belongings with you in Key West because storage during the visit is not provided. Pack for the weather and keep essentials within your bag allowance.

What happens if I need to change or cancel the excursion?

Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund. Later cancellations, no-shows and unused services are non-refundable. Date changes require at least 24 hours’ notice and depend on availability and confirmation. Last-minute bookings also require confirmation. Contact us before booking for one-way or private travel. A shared one-way journey remains USD 50 per person. Private transportation has a separate quotation and an agreed outbound schedule; private return pickup from Key West can be arranged no later than 7:00 p.m. Shared-service payment and booking conditions do not automatically apply to a private quotation.
